Suzanne Greer holds the Bachelor of Music in piano performance from St. Olaf College and the Master of Music in piano performance from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campus. From 1990 – 1991 she served as Artist-in-Residence for the Depot Outreach Artist Program in St. Louis County.

Currently she resides in Minnetonka, MN where she teaches both Suzuki and Traditional piano lessons in her home studio, SG Studio. She has developed a strong Suzuki Parent Education Program and was awarded two Teacher Development Scholarships from the Suzuki Association of the Americas. In 2009, she was a recipient of the Robert Schmitt Professional Development Grant from the Minnesota Music Teachers Association (MMTA) Foundation. Her students are consistent winners in local and state competitions.

Active in both local and state professional organizations, she served as President for the Minneapolis Music Teachers Forum and the Suzuki Piano Teachers Guild. She currently serves MMTA as Independent Music Teachers Forum Chair and Ensemble Festival Site Administrator. She is also a frequent adjudicator. Listed in both the Who’s Who of American Women and Who’s Who in America, she performs frequently for Thursday Musical as an Artist Member. In addition, she holds the Certificate in Piano Pedagogy from the University of St. Thomas. Her principle teachers include Mary Ann Swallum, David Brunell, Paul Shaw, and Katherine Faricy.
