Rebecca Martin maintains a very large and very active Suzuki piano studio in Superior, Co. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Hollins University in Virginia and a Master of Music from the University of Colorado in Boulder. In addition to teaching Suzuki piano, Rebecca teaches jazz, rock, pop and blues. She toured with Lois LaFond and the Rockadiles for over 20 years. A highlight was getting to perform at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. She also played for over 20 years with Pandemonium, an 18 piece jazz band. These days she enjoys playing two piano jazz and chamber music. Rebecca has been an instructor at Suzuki Institutes for 20 years. She believes that anyone can learn to improvise!
