Malgosia Lis earned her MM in piano pedagogy at the Paderewski University of Music in Poznan, Poland. While there, she was a piano faculty at the Music School for Talented Youth. She is a faculty member at the Hartt School Community Division in West Hartford CT, where she is the Coordinator for the Suzuki Piano Department. She is the Piano Coordinator for the Hartt Suzuki Institute. Her Suzuki training has been with Yasuko Joichi, Francoise Pierredon, Doris Koppelman, Doris Harrel, and Mary Craig Powell. Malgosia lives in West Hartford with her husband, a violinist, and three lovely children ages, 20, 16, and 10, all musicians.
