Karen B. Huffman

Karen Huffman began Suzuki Piano study at the age of 6 years and continued through high school and college. Karen now holds a Masters in Music Education focusing on Piano Pedagogy from Southern Methodist University and is currently going through Suzuki Piano certification with Cathy Hargrave. She runs her studio out of Metroplex Piano Warehouse in the North Dallas/Richardson area with room for 40 students of all ages and levels. She is also available (on a very limited basis) for in-home teaching. She is an active member of NTSA (North Texas Suzuki Association) and DMTA (Dallas Music Teachers Association). Her students have successfully participated in competitions, theory tests and trophy festivals for both organizations.
