I teach cello with Wilfrid Laurier’s String Academy in Waterloo, the Suzuki String School of Guelph, and at institutes across Canada. My aim is to provide supportive comradery in my studio, to create a musical home where all students belong and thrive. Providing a secure foundation is the key to enjoyment and progression, and my interest in healthy movement has led me to become a licensed Body Mapping Educator. I teach practical information about the body to both my own students, and performers and teachers of all ages looking for more ease in their playing, or recovering from injury.

As cellist with the Madawaska Quartet, I perform and record a wide range of repertoire at major venues in Canada. With the quartet I was artist-in-residence at University of Toronto , Scarborough, and acted as ensemble in residence at Array New Music Centre. I have performed with both baroque ensembles (Bach and Beyond—Fredonia), new music ensembles (Tapestry New Opera—Toronto) and held the position of assistant principal of the Erie Philharmonic (PA).

I earned a Bachelor’s in Music Performance at Wilfrid Laurier University under the tutelage of Paul Pulford and the Penderecki String Quartet.  After studies in San Francisco with Bonnie Hampton, I completed a Masters in Performance with members of the Cleveland Orchestra.
