by Elizabeth Stuen-Walker
October 1, 2007 / Topics: Conference, Conference 2008, Viola
The Viola Coordinators Betsy Stuen-Walker and Emily Williams are very excited to announce Helen Callus as the guest viola clinician. Ms. Callus currently teaches at the University of California at Santa Barbara and is the President of the American Viola Society. She is a celebrated concert artist and captivating clinician.
We invite you to submit your proposals and ideas for the conference sessions. We are particularly eager for sessions that deal with viola issues. Sessions from previous years included such topics as small violas, introducing treble clef, multi-level group classes, introducing each new Suzuki Viola book as they were published and supplemental repertoire to name a few. We look forward to continuing our popular ensembles reading session.
We are eager to hear from you.
Voilá Viola!
