Linda Perry

Linda Perry is professor of music, director of keyboard studies, and coordinator of the graduate program in accompanying and chamber music at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Best known as a collaborative artist, she has performed extensively as a recitalist. Her recordings of piano accompaniments for many of the standard violin concerti are widely used by teachers and students nationally. She was the recording artist for the MIDI recordings for the Suzuki Violin School Volumes I-VI. More recently she recorded Books 4 and 5 with William Preucil for the newly revised edition of the series. Dr. Perry holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in piano performance from Northwestern University and the doctor of musical arts degree in accompanying from the University of Illinois.
