Alice Vierra

Alice Vierra received a B.M.E from the University of Iowa and a Master’s in performance from the University of Wisconsin. She has a private studio of 25 students ages 4—17 in the Greater Washington DC area, and also teaches at the Levine School. She is a past president of SAGWA, has served as cello coordinator for one of the SAA Conferences, and is a member of the Board of the Hans Kindler Cello Society. She is a registered teacher trainer for the SAA and has taught at many Workshops and Institutes across the United States. She was a Suzuki Mom to three children, She played with the Fairfax Symphony and Washington Bach Consort.
