Two-year graduate program covering Violin Units 1-8 for 12 hrs. Limited teaching opportunities beginning in the third semester. Curriculum includes classroom lectures, guided observations of private lessons, group lessons, orchestras and chamber music coaching sessions. Lectures cover the history and philosophy of the Suzuki Method as well as the processes of technical and musical development. Pre-requisite: ECC.
Master of Music in Guitar Performance with an emphasis in Suzuki Pedagogy. Richard Provost and Christopher Ladd are the Private Lessons instructors and the Suzuki Guitar Pedagogy classes will be taught by David Madsen.
