Recreation
There are many opportunities for recreational activities and cultural venues- hiking, bike trails, mountain biking, fishing, scenic car drives, Anchorage Museum, Native Heritage Center, Alaska Zoo, bus and rail tours, flight-seeing charters, shopping, gold-panning, dog-sledding, etc. For more information check out the links on our website to activities in Anchorage and surrounding areas.
Other Info
Childcare is not provided due to liability issues with on-site insurance coverage, however local babysitters are easily arranged privately. We do offer limited scholarships to both student and teacher applicants (forms are on the website). Help with travel arrangements and housing available through our volunteer hospitality coordinator. We are more than happy to accommodate any special needs attendees. This is a great way to combine a sightseeing trip to Alaska with study of the Suzuki Method.
