Recreation
On campus golf course, biking trails, tennis, beautiful lake with walking trails, newly designed olympic-sized pool, evening entertainment, activities, and featured guest artist recitals. Greenville provides a thriving downtown area with unique shopping and is home to the AAA Greenville Drive baseball team. The highly acclaimed Brevard Music Center that attracts international students, faculty, and guest artists each summer is a one hour drive.

Furman University is located in Greenville, SC at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains between Atlanta, Ga and Charlotte, NC. Furman has been recognized as one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation. Families stay in the on-campus North Village apartments and eat in the food court style dining hall overlooking the Furman lake. The Andy Carlson Band featuring Andy Carlson on fiddle along with the Suzuki Fiddle classes will perform at the Furman University Lakeside Concert Series on Thursday evening. The series attracts over one thousand community patrons each week. All buildings are handicap accessible.
