The Northwest Suzuki Institute offers high quality string instruction at the University of Oregon School of Music campus in beautiful and eclectic Eugene, Oregon. The Northwest Suzuki Institute offers full and half day Suzuki student camps for violin, viola, and cello plus Short Term Teacher Training for Violin 4.

Pricing

Student Fees

  • Registration $40 (before April 30) $50 (after April 30 until June 30)
  • Half-Day Participants $225 (Pre-Twinkle thru Mid-Book 1; or more advanced students ages 6 and under)
  • Full-Day Participants $350 (Late Book 1- Book 5)
  • Sibling/Parent Enrichments $60 each

Enrichments include music and movement, orchestra, note reading, fiddling, viola for violinists and more.

  • Late fee for registrations received after June 30 $50

Teacher Fees

  • Violin Unit 4 Teacher Training $365 (includes the $15 SAA Registration Fee)

Housing & Meals

Recreation

Enrollment in the NSI includes faculty recital, student recitals, play-ins and ice cream social.

The NSI is housed on the beautiful University of Oregon campus which is full of things to do and see. Highlights include numerous cafes and eateries, the Museum of Natural History, the Jordan Schnitzer Art Museum, Autzen Stadium, Hayward Field and wide open grassy lawns to play on.

Financial Assistance: The NSI offers a limited amount of need-based financial aid. Families wishing to apply must submit a letter of recommendation from their private teacher and fill out a financial aid form available from the Community Music Institute’s website:
