Pricing
Student Fees
All registrants will participate in a closing recital on the final afternoon of the institute.
- Book 1 (all ages, 9am-2pm) $325
- Book 2 and above (all ages, 9am-4pm) $450
- Repertoire & Masterclass only, Book 5 and above (grades 8-12, 2 hrs per day) $135
Teachers registering 5 or more students receive a 20% discount when registering for a teacher training unit.
Registration deadline June 4, 2012. No refunds after June 4, 2012.

- Guitar Practicum $500
- Teacher enrichment class $35
Teachers registering for 5 days of observation may attend the teacher enrichment class for no additional charge.
Registration deadline June 4, 2012. No refunds after June 4, 2012. A minimum number of registrants is necessary to run the teacher training courses. If the minimum number is not met, registered participants will be notified by June 8th. Guitar practicum limited to 5 registrants.
Housing & Meals
Housing and meals are the responsibility of institute attendees. MacPhail Center for Music is located in downtown Minneapolis. Hotels and restaurants within short walking distance. The Depot Hotel and Residence Inn, across the street from MacPhail, features rooms/suites with kitchens; a water park and indoor skating rink; www.thedepotminneapolis.com/hotels.php; Ask for the MacPhail rate.
Recreation
MacPhail Center for Music is located in downtown Minneapolis. Indoor water park and ice skating rink, Mill City Museum, the Guthrie Theater and the Mississippi River are within two blocks of MacPhail. Many other recreational activities, including Orchestra Hall and local theaters. Light rail transit available to the Mall of America.

Some limited financial aid for student attendance may be available. Contact director for information. Light rail transit from MSP airport to within 3 blocks of MacPhail. The institute will take place in MacPhail’s newly constructed school; full handicap accessibility. See www.MacPhail.org for details.
