Housing is available in university dormitories.

All minors must have an adult chaperone in the suite. Kitchen facilities are not available.

Cafeteria hours 7am to 2:30pm, Monday – Friday. Numerous restaurants nearby. Coffee shop in campus bookstore.

Recreation

From Raging Rivers Water Park to the Bismarck Zoo, Sertoma Amusement Park to the Heritage Center at the Capital complex, the science museum at Gateway to Science to fishing at one of the many lakes and rivers nearby, there is something for everyone in the Bismarck-Mandan area. The three public outdoor swimming pools,many parks and trails provide lots of outdoor activity opportunities. Camping is available at several places, including General Sibley Park near the Missouri River. For more information, visit the Bismarck Mandan Visitors Bureau at www.bismarckmandancvb.com . There will be a supervised recreation period each day during the Institute.

Bismarck is situated in central North Dakota, with convenient access by freeway or highway. Bismarck State College is located near Interstate 94 and US 83 in north central Bismarck. The newly-expanded airport accommodates daily flights. Bismarck State College is handicap accessible.
