The Alberta Summer Suzuki Institute is hosted by Edmonton’s Society for Talent Education (STE), one of North America’s longest running Suzuki programs—now in its 47th year.
Held on the campus of the University of Alberta, ASSI creates a special opportunity for children, parents, grandparents, teachers and Master Teachers to come together in a happy, nurturing environment to share music making and inspiration. In addition to wonderful masterclasses, group classes, orchestra and chamber music, ASSI offers classes in Kodaly, musicianship, improvisation and fiddling. Special events include a faculty recital, a family social evening featuring our enrichment classes and dancing lead by our fiddle faculty as well as a grand final concert downtown at Edmonton’s beautiful City Hall.
The theme for ASSI 2012 is Music Moves Us! How will you be moved by the music at ASSI 2012?
