A heterogeneous string class taught using the concepts of the Suzuki Method has the interest of many string teachers. This Suzuki in the Schools course explores the application of the Suzuki philosophy and materials for classroom success. The course is taught by SAA registered Suzuki in the Schools trainers William Dick and Laurie Scott.

The 23-hour course includes 15 hours of classroom instruction, 5 hours of observation and supervised teaching in a Violin B class, and three hours of observation of the trainers in orchestra and group classes. Videos of Dr. Scott and Mr. Dick working with public school classes are also available for participants interested in additional observations.

Participants wishing to register the course with the SAA must have completed and registered ECC and Book 1 in their individual instrument.
