How to get from the Minneapolis airport to the Hilton where the conference is being held.

Driving Directions

Take Highway 5 East to 62W to 35W North and follow “Downtown Exits”. Exit at 11th Street and stay in the right-hand lane. The Hilton is located on the corner of 11th Street and Marquette Avenue.

The conference is being held at the Hilton Minneapolis hotel in downtown Minneapolis, MN. To receive the special attendee room rate of $101 per night, you need to make a reservation by May 1, 2008 (or before the SAA reserved room block is full).

The room block is currently full for Wednesday and Thursday nights. To get the special SAA price, make your reservations for Friday, May 23 to Monday, May 26. Arriving on Friday morning will give you plenty of time to attend the full conference—events do no start until noon.

To get discounted airfares from Northwest Airlines, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the NWA website here: http://res.nwa.com/App/OffsiteSearch
  2. Enter your flight search parameters.
  3. Under the “E-Cert: Do you have a Discount Travel E-Cert, Electronic Credit Voucher (ECV) or an NWA Extras Voucher?” section in the lower right corner choose Yes, then select Meeting agreement (WorldFile number) and enter the code NYVFW.
  4. Click Search for Flights.
  5. You will eventually be asked to log in, but you can choose the guest option if you do not already have an account.
