About the Piano Area Plans

James Anagnoson and Leslie Kinton

This year’s conference will feature some new and exciting events in the area of Suzuki piano. Our clinicians will be the distinguished piano duo, James Anagnoson and Leslie Kinton. In addition to fabulous masterclasses for which students may audition, the duo will also
work with student duo piano groups.

For the past several years a Piano Concerto event has been a special feature of the Conference. This year we will feature a four-piano performance event. Students selected by audition will perform the Bach Concerto in a minor, BWV 1065 on Sunday’s concert. Please see the website for audition information for these events and encourage your students to participate.

Of course with your expertise and ideas, the Piano Area will be filled with many other offerings for teachers and parents. Whether you would like to present a session or just suggest an idea for a session you’d like to attend, please go to the website and submit a proposal today!
