Meghan Lanfear
Meg Lanfear is the Founder and Director of the Oak Park Suzuki School in Oak Park, IL (www.OakParkSuzukiSchool.com). She is also on the faculty of the Western Springs School of Talent Education. Meg is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Music where she received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Violin Performance as well as another Masters in Suzuki Pedagogy. In addition to completing the pedagogy program at Cleveland, Meg has done further studies with Koji Toyoda in Matsumoto Japan, Nancy Lokken, Ed Kreitman, Teri Einfeldt, and Mimi Zweig. An avid performer, Meg has performed with numerous orchestras and chamber groups in the US and Japan including performances alongside Daniel Barenboim, Diana Krall, Herbie Hancock and Itzhak Perlman.
